A compilation of tracks almost all taken from previous albums – the only exception is the first track on side one Save Your Last Kiss For Me, which had previously only been issued on a 45rpm single.

Perhaps more emphasis on the folk/pop side of the band than the Lancashire side (although there were a few “Lanky” tracks included, such as Ashton Mashers and Mi Gronny) – but this seems fair enough as the compilation Lancashire My Lancashire was released the same year.
